Does the ageLOC Nutriol Scalp & Hair System protect against heat from hair curlers & flat irons?
- We tested ageLOC Nutriol Shampoo & Conditioner while drying and applying a flat iron to hair, then assessed the breakage that came from repeated dry grooming. We found that the shampoo led to a greater resistance to breakage after heat application when compared to a similar shampoo.
I dye my hair. Can I use the ageLOC Nutriol System?
- To test this, we followed protocol by dying medium brown hair tresses, thus ensuring all tests were reproduceable – essentially making sure the initial state of each subject’s hair was comparable with one another – then noted the effects of multiple washes using both ageLOC Nutriol Shampoo & Conditioner and a control shampoo. While not designed specifically for coloured hair, our individual products neither increased nor decreased colour fade beyond that of the shampoo we tested against.
I have thick and curly hair, is the system suitable for me?
